June 14th – Developing a Fundraising Plan
In today’s challenging economic environment, funding has decreased and competition has increased for the non-profit sector. Having a solid fundraising plan is critical to the financial success of any organization and to overcome these challenges. In this workshop, learn about the critical components of an annual fundraising program and how to translate that into a strategic plan that can be effectively implemented. Participants will have the opportunity to share their current strategies and get feedback from the speaker and other participants on new ideas. Participants will also walk away with the knowledge to create a strategic fundraising plan, a case statement, a gift range chart, and a manageable calendar for all of their fundraising activities. June 21st – IRS Practitioner Meeting
The Internal Revenue Service, in partnership with the National Association of Tax Practitioners, the NM Society of CPA's, and the NM Society of Enrolled Agents is bringing the latest in tax information to you. Topics to be covered: IRS tax law updates, Foreign Earned Income, Schedule C - Travel, Meals & Entertainment, and new rules for Federal Tax Preparers, including IRS Circular 230 and the IRS Panel. Enrolled Agents receive 8 CPE hours. Registration fee includes lunch. Registration begins at 7:30am. Advanced payment is requested no later than June 7th to secure seating

June 21st – Prospect Research 101 for Nonprofits
This training will walk participants through the process of prospect research, while highlighting myths about research and what ethical standards must be applied. Presentation will also discuss strategies and resources to use in researching individuals, what kind of information to search for, how to assemble a research profile, and what information sources are available on the internet. June 28th - Boosting Nonprofit Bottom Line
From Giving your fundraising a jump-start to generating money through earned revenue and being smart in saving money, this workshop will look at strategies that nonprofits can implement immediately to boost their bottom line. During the class participants will evaluate their own organizations and start creating an action plan to develop the steps for getting their organization on track for raising, making, and saving more money.
