October 13th ? Information Session for CRS Taxpayers

Covers the basic taxes and how to file reports properly to avoid penalties. Topics include explanations of Gross Receipts Tax (GRT), compensating tax, withholding tax, the CRS Filer?s Kit and proper use of Nontaxable Transaction Certificates (NTTC). See center website for time and location.

October 15th ? Bookkeeping Basics for Artists

In this workshop you will learn the key bookkeeping concepts and terminology, the 2 principal financial statements and how they are related, a simple single entry bookkeeping method and basic bookkeeping rules and processes. October 20th ? Bookkeeping: Benefits from the numbers and how to get them

Covers the meaning and interpretation of the four main financial statements: (1) balance sheet; (2) income statement; (3) cash flow statement; (4) statement of shareholders equity.
